About me

My name is Iris Teunissen, born in 1996, and I am a photographer based in Lier, Belgium. I completed my Bachelor's degree in Audiovisual Techniques with a specialization in photography at Sint Lucas University in Antwerp. My expertise lies in portrait and music photography. During my internship at Keijser 18 mediaproductions in Amsterdam, I had the privilege of capturing images of remarkable artists such as Tedeschi Trucks Band, The Rival Sons, and more.

Following graduation, I ventured into teaching, eventually transitioning into the realms of marketing and communication. It was here that I honed the art of blending all my skills seamlessly.

Beyond photography, my deepest passion lies in music! In addition to my photographic pursuits, I also am the lyricist for the Stef Paglia Band, a blues rock formation from Belgium.

In 2023, I had the privilege of temporarily assuming the role of an internal communications consultant at the city of Lier. Over the span of seven months, I focused on enhancing employer branding, content creation, and the further development of the internal communication platform.
In September of the same year, I spearheaded a recruitment campaign that featured elements such as custom-printed bread bags, citywide banners, prominent presence at diverse events, and more.

In 2024 I worked for Festival of Flanders Mechelen/Kempen as head of communication and PR. In the 9 months working there under a temporary contract, I focused on social media, photography and promotion. Festival Lunalia had a record edition with over 5.000 visitors!
